Nowadays, with internet available on every corner, planning your overland trip is a lot easier than in the past. Almost all the information you need can be found on the internet. Personally I surfed countless hours on the web and copy-pasted all useful information into files so that, once on the road, I would have the information to hand even if I was not online. Handy but a hell of a job.

Once on the road I noticed that all overlanders have more or less the same demand for information and they all spend their own time on the world wide web as there is no website where all this information is gathered. How easy would it be if you could just download a list with all available waypoints instead of gathering them yourself from numerous websites and how easy would it be to have an updated list of fuel prices so that you can fill up your tanks in the best spots.

The goal of this website is to provide an easily accessible and easy to use database of this kind of overland data. We will start by gathering the information that is most in demand. This information will consist of waypoints, fuel prices, visa and taxes and links.
